Top: Girls

Short or Long Sleeve

  • St. Elmo School Polo
  • St. Elmo T-Shirt Solid Navy, or Gold
  • Polos Solid White Peter Pan Collared Shirts May Be Worn With Jumpers, Skirts, and Skorts

Long-Sleeve

  • St. Elmo School Fleece, Sweatshirt, or Wind Breaker Solid Navy or White Sweater, Sweatshirt, or Fleece
  • Any Color or Style Coat or Jacket for Outdoor Wear Only

NOTE

  • All shirts are to be long enough to tuck in. Please label all outerwear with child’s name. Only solid white, navy, or gold short sleeve undershirts are to be worn under uniform shirts.

Shoes:

  • Any athletic/sneaker shoes or boat/deck/loafer shoes are acceptable.  All shoes must be non marking soles.  **NO BOOTS**

Outerwear: Male/Female

  • SOLID NAVY
  • (no logos or emblems)
  • St. Elmo sweaters, wind breakers, sweatshirts, or fleece jackets must be worn in classrooms.
  • Any Color or Style Coat or Jacket may be worn OUTDOOR. These items are not permitted to be worn in the classrooms.

Additional Notes

 

  • The uniform policy at St. Elmo Elemetnary was established as mandated by the Mobile County Public School System. A committee comprised of administrative staff, teachers, and parents met and decided on the following Mandatory Uniform Dress Policy. The principal shall be the final authority in intepreting the Dress Code.
  • For safety reasons, all earrings must be small studs (no large hoop or dangling style earrings).
  • Hair must be of natural color.
  • No unusual haircuts or accessories (e.g., Mohawks, emblems, rat tails, spikes, shaved designs, feathers etc.).
  • Hair must be kept neat and clean.
  • No obvious make-up or visible tattoos.
  • Any accessory not addressed should not be worn.
  • Clothing items must be free of manufacturer logos.
